Sweepstakes Terms & Conditions

The “Lowelifes Trail Fund Sweepstakes” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is being conducted by the Lowelife’s Respectable Citizen’s Club (“LRCC”), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, with assistance from Santa Cruz Bicycles, LLC, a California limited liability company (“SCB”), for the benefit of LRCC’s Los Angeles Trail Reconstruction Fund, to help rebuild trails in the Los Angeles Area following recent wildfires. (Together, LRCC and SCB are referred to herein as the “Organizers”). The Sweepstakes is open to contestants within the 50 United States of America and the District of Columbia. Entrants must be at least 18 years old to participate. The employees, board members, and officers of the Organizers, and their respective family members, are not eligible to participate. The Organizers are not responsible for entries made but not received or accepted for any reason, including without limitation entries that are lost or destroyed due to technical difficulties. All such entries are void. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you consent to these terms and conditions and to the Organizers and their affiliates sending you additional information and updates related to the sweepstakes and other news.

The grand prize in the sweepstakes is one Santa Cruz Bicycles Bronson complete mountain bike with an approximate retail value of $12,000. If, for some reason, the original prize is not available, the Organizers reserve the right to replace the prize with one of equal or greater value.

Every $5 earns one entry for a chance to win, and you may purchase as many entries as desired. Your odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. Entries must be received on or before 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on May 6th, 2025. The Organizers make no representations or warranties with respect to the deductibility of entrance fees or any other amounts spent in connection with the Sweepstakes, or otherwise with respect to taxes. The prize winner will be chosen at random from the list of eligible entrants.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING unless you purchase multiple entries. To enter without purchase, you may mail a handwritten postcard to Santa Cruz Bicycles,  Attn: Lowelife’s Trail Fund Sweepstakes at: 2841 MIssion st, Santa Cruz, CA 95060 with your (i) full name; (2) mailing address, including street address, city, state/district, and zip code (P.O. boxes not accepted); (3) telephone number; (4) email address; (5) date of birth, and (6) a note indicating your desire to participate in the Sweepstakes. All write-in entries must be postmarked by May 1st, 2025, and received by May 6th, 2025. Only one mail-in entry per person will be accepted.

The prize winner will be chosen on May 7th, 2025. The prize winner will be notified on May 8th, 2025 via email to the address provided in the form submission. If there is no response, a second email will be sent on or around May 12th, 2025. The prize must be claimed by December 15th, 2025, by responding to the notification email and supplying the necessary personal details to support prize fulfillment. Any unclaimed prize will constitute forfeiture. The organizers are not responsible for any kind of printing, technical, or other similar errors in the selection process. The Organizers reserve the right to cancel all or part of the contest and/or to declare a potential winner ineligible in such a situation. The decisions and rules of the Organizers are final on all matters concerning the drawing—void where prohibited by law.

The prize winner is solely responsible for all local, state, and federal taxes, title, transfer fees, license duties, insurance, shipping, and all expenses incurred in claiming or receiving a prize. The prize winner understands, acknowledges, and agrees that he or she is receiving a prize and hereby releases and

discharges, and hereby agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless, each of the Organizers, their respective affiliates, any additional sponsors, and each of their respective their employees, agents, officers, directors, and legal representatives and assigns, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses arising from or caused by the award of such prize, including, but not limited to the payment of any and all taxes that are due as well as any and all personal injuries arising from use of the prize.

The prize winner may be required to sign a declaration of eligibility and liability release and, where permitted, a publicity release. The prize may be awarded to an alternate winner if declarations/releases are not completed at the time that the prize is awarded. The prize winner agrees that the Organizers may use the name, address, likeness, and/or prize information of the winner for promotional purposes in any medium without additional compensation to the extent permitted by law. The prize will be awarded “as-is” without any representation or warranty other than the standard warranty offered by SCB.

The Sweepstakes is governed by California law.
